Nalson Mandela

Almost everyone has heard of Nelson Mandela. Who was he and why Nelson is important to the society. Nelson Mandela was a popular not only in South Africa but in the whole world and he was mostly known because of what he stood up for.  

Mandela has affected the world in so many ways .Nelson Mandela spent all his life fighting for the freedom in South Africa. Nelson Mandela was born in the year 1918 in rural Umtata Transkei, South Africa. During the period of college studies he came into contact with modern principles of freedom , liberty , democracy , equality, political and more. It was after his education that Mandela decided to became more involved finding solutions to the many problems that apartheid which divided blacks and whites of South Africa.

  Nelson tried to change the racist political system of apartheid, in which black Africans were legally discriminated against. Mandela was send to the prison for telling the truth and standing up for the right things .During 27 years that he was in jail he became the source of inspiration and example. That why Mandela is my one of my favorite heroes.   On 5, December 2013 nelson Mandela passed away at the age of 95 after suffering from a prolonged respiratory infection. Even after his death, he will always be my favorite here Long walk to freedom by nelson Mandela. Black history month

Why is black history month important? During the month of February, we take the time to celebrate all the heroes around the universe.  Black history is a celebration of what heroes did for us as the nation.

Black history month shows that everyone is equal, it doesn’t matter the color of your skin or where you come from. Everyone is the same inside. The appearance doesn’t matter.

Black history shows our strength as a nation. Its shows how strong we have been during the time of slavery, also shows how hard we worked to get freedom, for example, Harriet Tubman who was like the other runaway, she created escape path to help the others find freedom. If it weren’t for the people who fight for freedom and equality, I don’t think we would have schools with Asian, African American, Norwegian and many other different kids from different countries in school learning together.

For me, black history month, is a month to honor African Americans who played a major role in the society and fighter for the freedom and equality. It’s also a time to honor important people such as Dr.Martin Luther King. Jr.Malcolm X and more others. I take the month of February to thank and appreciate everyone that gave their lives for us to have a good future. Without them, the earth wouldn’t be a better, safe and peaceful place.

What makes a hero ?

 

Every age and every culture have its own hero. In some other countries, heroes are like gold and gods. For me, I believe the hero should be respected. We must thank our hero for everything they have done for us. What make a Hero? Heroes are known as a man or woman  of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities.

According to me, heroes don’t need to fly, wear a cape or thought layers from their eyes to be the one who save countless lives. Also, they don’t need mask to become hero. They just need to try to do what is right. Since back in the days, there were people, man's and woman, who stood up for the right things. Without those heroes today, we wouldn’t have a peaceful country. Without our hero women couldn’t be equal to the men. Without them we would not be able to access free education. Personally hero interests me because of the actions they did to save other. Hero are never scared of other , they are,  most of the times they are very brave .

My everyday hero would be my bus driver because the school bus drive takes me from home to school in a safe zone. That is a hero to me. Someone who makes an impact in a person life. In this blog, I am going to talk about the hero of all time. I am going to talk about how they became the hero and why we should take the time to thank them.
